From developing tone of voice guidelines to crafting messaging, I work with start-ups and established brands to shape their identities and bring their unique stories to life. Below is a selection of projects I’ve worked on. For further examples, please get in touch.
I worked on the branding for a mediterranean restaurant called Lirica. To fit with the name, the copy needed a lyrical tone that complemented the food and atmosphere of the restaurant. Here’s a selection of copy I wrote.
Waltz is a US-based startup providing tech help to older adults. Working with the brilliant branding agency Notable, I was there from the very beginning of their journey, first developing the brand TOV and identity and then bringing this to life across their website and across social. Aimed at older adults, the copy needed a warm, friendly feel that was reassuring and empathetic, without being patronising.
I worked with Attach Creative to reposition The Tower Hotel London’s bar and restaurant. The brief was to transform an overlooked hotel bar into a premier destination for elevated dining, social connection, and unforgettable views.
Located within the opulent Royal Horseguards Hotel and adjacent to the historic original Scotland Yard, One Twenty-One Two has long been a refined dining destination. However, its identity suffered from ambiguity and confusion, with the former name “1212” leaving diners unsure how to pronounce it or understand its significance. The rich history and story behind the name remained largely untold, weakening its connection with guests.
I developed a new tone of voice to match the restaurant’s refined setting: polished yet personal, with an undercurrent of intrigue. The tone leans into storytelling and mystery, striking a balance between confidence and warmth, inviting guests to discover something new with each visit.
